The sides of this Victorian armchair are deeply carved full figured winged lions or "griffins." Dating from about 1890, the finish is very fine.
This is very relaxed lounging furniture, the velvet upholstery is not new but in very good condition - see photos. The frame is sound and firm, and measurements of this American antique are 28" wide, 38" deep, 36" tall and the seat is 15" high.
