"Spoon" or chip carving adorns a solid walnut chest or dresser from the late Victorian "Eastlake" period about 1890.
The glowing finish is excellent, the back of the top is rough at the rear edge. Lower engraved brasses are original, the top 2 are replacements. Drawers have pin and cove dovetails, characteristic of antique furniture from the era.
Dimensions are 40" long, 18" deep and 38" tall.
