Carved of walnut with burl about 1870, this sweet Victorian work table or sewing stand has a slide out needlework hopper. The finish is excellent on all sides of this American furniture, the hand dovetailed drawer has dividers and a pincushion.
Porcelain wheels are original. The curved outside of the hopper is rippled on this sturdy and charming antique - see photos. Size is 24" long, 17" deep and 30" tall.
