A wonderful antique Victorian physician's cabinet was hand-made in the 1860's, and has secret compartments inside for opium and other narcotics.
Glowing mahogany with matched flame grain, the original finish is in beautiful condition. Drawers have solid mahogany sides with tiny hand-cut dovetails, and doors have original wavy glass. Deep moldings and bun feet are distinctive.
Authentic antique furniture, this was used in the home office of a doctor for medical supplies and drugs. The upper section is a separate piece, and dimensions are 3' wide, 20" deep and 5'8" tall.
