Hand carved of solid walnut with exceptional fruit, walnut and walnut leaf design pulls, this Victorian chest or dresser has a wonderfully figured grain and matched burl drawerfronts. The gleaming finish is excellent with a few mars at the edges and a carved plug in the top - see photos.
Drawers have hand-cut dovetails and "racetrack" moldings. Keyhole escutcheons are also hand carved. Square hand-cut nails are visible on the back.
Size of this beautiful American antique furniture from about 1860 is 42" wide, 19" deep and 37" tall.
