Victorian Walnut Secretary Desk with Bookcase Top

This lovely Victorian secretary desk has a bookcase top, and is hand made of solid walnut with extraordinary matched flame burl panels. The writing surface flips open onto pull-out supports. Inside are tiny drawers and compartments.

The fruit pulls are hand carved, drawers are hand dovetailed, and bookcase shelves are adjustable.

This gracious antique furniture separates into two pieces for moving. The carved pediment is artful, and the old warm brown finish is very fine. Size is 48" wide, 21" deep and 7'7" tall, the writing area is 31" above the floor.
