The patina is gorgeous on this authentic Victorian dropleaf sofa, breakfast or dining table in solid walnut. "Gate legs" swing out on carved wooden hinges to support the dropleaves when raised.
Totally firm and stable, this table is also useful for serving with one or both leaves raised. The finish is exceptional, and the dropleaves are cut from single 18" wide planks of walnut.
Measurements of this American antique furniture from about 1860 are 31" tall with 26" of legroom underneath, about 1" lower if the original porcelain wheels are removed on all six legs. With dropleaves down, the top is 4'x 23," with both leaves raised the table is 4' wide and 4'9" long.
