The contemporary look of this simple pewter cased clock is deceiving - it is an American antique from about 1910. Signed by famous Connecticut maker, "Waterbury," the porcelain dial includes an "open" or exposed escapement to watch the ticking of this historic timepiece.
A brass bezel holds a beveled glass door. Cleaned and oiled, the 8 day movement keeps excellent time and strikes the hour and half. Measurements of this elegantly simple clock are 6" wide, 4" deep and 10" tall.
