Woodworking Bench, Great Kitchen Island / Wine Table

Used for generations by cabinetmakers, this authentic workbench would make a picturesque wine and appetizer table, or kitchen island. The signature on iron mounts reads "O. Tool Co., Pat. Ap(ril), (18)84."
Mars and wear give this antique great character and patina, and the golden finish is fine on all sides. Large clamping vises are at both ends, and there is a recessed tool tray.
Ruggedly crafted of hard maple and pine, the top lifts off for easier moving. Underneath are hand-made drawers, and the exposed dovetail and mortise joints are fascinating.
Dimensions of the table are 6'8" long, 2' deep and 30 1/2" tall, the vises project an additional 10."
