1915 Antique Marquetry Satinwood Music Cabinet Johnson & Appleyards, Sheffield

An elegant cabinet was hand crafted in England about 1915 for sheet music, signed Johnson & Appleyards, Sheffield.

Delicately carved of satinwood and cherry, the curved door has inlaid marquetry and subtle hand painting. The key acts as a handle but does not lock. There is a pull out work surface.

The top has been revarnished for durability, the base is original and has been waxed and polished. Only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm patina.

This exquisite antique furniture from Europe measures 24" wide, 16" deep and 48" tall.
