This beautiful combination marble top chest and dressing mirror was hand made about 1870, during the late Victorian or Eastlake period.
Solid walnut with burl panels, the satiny finish is in excellent condition on this American made furniture. "Tennessee Red" marble has a soft honed finish. Engraved brasses are original on drawers with hand cut dovetail joints. The swivel mirror has a few flaws and a hint of golden antique "smoke" to show its age.
Size is 59" wide, 20" deep, 80" tall and the marble top is 34" high.
