Hand crafted in France about 1910, this opulent china cabinet or back bar has a marble server top and leaded and beveled glass windows.
Solid oak, the finish is in very good condition with mars at the edges, a couple of warped doors and shrinkage separations from age for antique character, see photos. All panels are raised on this historic European furniture. There are no keys, doors are held with magnetic catches.
We see a few scratches but no breaks in the beveled leaded glass windows with a few colored "jewels." The center mirror is shaped and beveled with some "smoke" to show its age. Side glass and interior mirrors are old and charmingly wavy.
Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints. The upper section is removable for easier delivery. Cast brass hardware and the shell motif crest all appear original.
Measurements are 61" wide, 22" deep and 7' 1" tall.
