Crafted of solid walnut about 1885 in the late Victorian or Eastlake period, this bookcase or china cabinet has original wavy glass doors.
The old finish is in very fine condition, waxed and buffed so only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its antique patina. There are mars at the edges for character, see photos. Shelves adjust on wooden supports in the removable upper section. Dovetailed drawers have original embossed pulls on this American made furniture.
Dimensions are 44" wide at the crown, 20" deep and 85 1/2" tall.
