A delicate but sturdy set of six dining chairs were carved in Italy about 1940, and show Art Nouveau influence.
Graceful fruitwood frames are tight and strong. The well preserved finish has a little wear and a few mars for antique patina, see photos.
Seats of this vintage European furniture set have been upholstered in fabric after a design of Alphonse Mucha, the famed Art Nouveau artist from Prague. There are spots and stains, see photos.
On the backs are embossed oval brass medallions.
Measurements are 18" wide, 21" deep, 37" tall and seats are 19" high.
