A settle or bench from the Arts and Crafts or Mission Oak period about 1905 has all the hallmarks of famous Stickley construction but no signature, so nothing can be proven.
Pegged joints, gentle curves and mortised arms are all authentic. The soft spring cushion has been newly upholstered in soft fabric with a period design.
This antique Craftsman furniture was made in America of solid quarter sawn oak, one back slat has an old repair. The deep finish is in excellent condition.
Measurements are 76" wide, 28" deep, 39" tall and the seat is 18" high.
