Hand crafted about 1840 of shimmering curly or "birdseye" grain maple, this Empire period console table has a hinged sliding top that opens to make a game table.
The gleaming finish is in excellent condition on this antique furniture from England, with a few losses and restorations for character. Under the top is storage space for game pieces.
Measurements are 36" long, 20" deep and 30" tall as a console, open size is 36" long and 40" deep.
