Solid quarter sawn oak, a pair of rugged office armchairs from a Milwaukee bank date from about 1910.
The deep finish is excellent on this rock-solid furniture, preserving a few mars at the edges for character, see photos. Curved back spindles, wide arms and sculpted seats make these antique chairs very comfortable and ergonomic, as we now say.
American made, measurements are 23" wide, 23" deep, 33" tall and seats are 18" high.
