Crafted of solid quarter sawn oak around 1910, this stacking four drawer file cabinet has bookcase sections above and is signed on a brass plate, "Library Bureau Makers." Such top quality pieces were bought by the Carnegie Foundation to give to public libraries around the country.
The deep finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique office furniture. Original hardware and label holders are solid brass. File drawers have adjustable pushers and fit standard 10" x 12" files. Behind each pair of glass doors is an adjustable shelf, and sections stack securely together.
Dimensions are 33" wide, 25" deep and 79" tall.
