An expertly crafted desk from about 1900 is solid quarter sawn oak with raised panels. The finish is in excellent condition, preserving mars and wear on the base for antique character.
Originally there was no center drawer, it was added later and has a working lock. The top was rebuilt on this American made antique library or office furniture.
Dovetailed drawers are deep and have original carved pulls, there is a file drawer. Two pull out shelves afford extra work space.
This desk disassembles for moving if needed. Dimensions are 57" wide, 32" deep, 31" tall and the kneehole is 24" wide and 25" high.
