Hand crafted around 1860 in New England, benches like this were used in a church as a "deacon's bench" as well as in railroad stations.
Pine and maple with hand turned hickory spindles, this furniture has an excellent finish. There are shrinkage separations for antique character.
Professionally reglued, this sturdy and tight bench is ready for another generation of use. Size is 73" long, 17" deep, 31 1/2" tall and the seat is 17" high.
