Made to hold a bowl and pitcher in the days before plumbing, this Sheraton period washstand dates from about 1810.
Hand crafted of solid mahogany, the restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture.
Delicate reeded legs and the hand cut dovetail joints on the drawer are authentic. Embossed brass pulls appear original, the drawer bottom is chamfered and cut square nails are visible.
Size is 18" wide, 16" deep and 40 1/2" tall.
