This Georgian period hanging corner cabinet was hand made about 1760 in England. Hand hewn of solid oak, there is inlaid marquetry of ebony and mahogany with a shell motif. Square nails are visible on this antique furniture.
The old finish has been waxed and buffed, all that is needed to maintain the warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
A lock and key still work in the door, panels are reverse chamfered.
Size is 38" across tip to tip, 27" deep on the sides and 36 1/2" tall.
