Hand carved of solid oak about 1915 in Scandinavia, this china or library cabinet has lion paw feet, doors in high relief and "linen fold" side panels.
The inlaid top has been revarnished for durability, the rest of the original finish is in very fine condition, waxed and buffed so all that is needed to maintain the warm luster is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
Drawers have dovetail joints, the interior shelf is adjustable. Original wrought iron hardware includes double throw locks on the doors. The base is supported on carved double scroll legs with mortise and tenon joints.
Dimensions are 91" long, 23" deep and 50 1/2" tall.
