A apothecary or pharmacy scale from the late Victorian or Eastlake period about 1880 is signed on the original brass pans, "Druggist Scale Works, Chicago." Carved of solid oak with a marble top, there is a balance indicator on the front.
The old finish is in very fine condition on this American made drug store antique. "Tennessee Red" marble is undamaged. Weights are sold separately.
Overall size is 22" long, 10" deep and 9" tall.
