This dramatic "bombe" or convex chest of drawers or commode has the elegance of the Tuscan countryside in Italy. Golden brown olive and walnut hardwoods are banded and hand-carved.
It is signed "Made in Italy exclusively for Marshall Fields," the finest store in Chicago, and dated Feb. of 1986.
The finish is excellent, there are separations and irregularities that prove hand craftsmanship. Hardware is original.
Dimensions are 30" wide, 15" deep and 28" tall.
