Women checked their hems on the lower mirror in grand houses. Matched flame grain mahogany is gorgeous, the finish is in excellent condition with a few mars at the edges for antique character.
"Nero Portoro" marble is from a famous quarry in Italy, and has been polished and sealed to resist stains, there are professional repairs - see photos. The mirror has a little antique "smoke" for character on this American made furniture from St.Louis.
