Sold by famed Chicago jeweler, "Spaulding & Co., Chicago & Paris" this elegant clock from about 1910 is marked made in "France."
The "Paris Regulator" design oval brass case is fitted with curved and beveled glass. A precision brass movement strikes the hour and half on a silvery toned gong, and runs a week on a winding.
Professionally cleaned and oiled, this antique timepiece keeps excellent time. The case has nicely shaded antique patina, the porcelain hand painted dial is intact. An original compensating pendulum is filled with real mercury, so this clock will not be shipped by USPS, FedEx or UPS.
Measurements are 8" wide, 6 1/2" deep and 12" tall.
