An 1900's workbench salvaged from a carpentry shop could serve as a kitchen island or wine and cheese tasting table.
Pine has an excellent finish, preserving lots of mars, stains and dings for antique character.
Exposed mortise and tenon joints are authentic on this rugged American made furniture. Two vise clamps to hold projects have iron screws and handles. A recessed tray kept parts and tools from rolling away. Square holes were for pegs to secure door panels under construction.
The top lifts off for easier moving. Dimensions are 7' 7" long and 32" deep including the vise handles and 33" tall.
