A country pine physician's cabinet was hand made in the 1850's in the Oley Valley in Pennsylvania's Amish country.
Every surface is hand planed, even the tiny drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and chamfered bottoms. Doors have old wavy glass. Cut square nails are visible. The center glass knob is of the era but a replacement, the others all are original with threaded glass screw threads.
The finish is in very good condition on this American made antique medical furniture. Useful as a sideboard, there are shrinkage separations from age, see photos.
Measurements are 50" wide, 59" tall, 21" deep and the top is 36 1/2" high.
