A country pantry cupboard with dry sink was crafted of maple and poplar around 1870. The finish is in excellent condition, preserving some losses, stains and mars on this primitive antique furniture.
Arched doors have original embossed iron latches. Under the lift lid is a dry sink from the days before running water, probably used with a tin dish pan. Two holes in the back are plugged, probably cut later to install plumbing.
American made, square cut nail heads are visible. Measurements are 54 1/2" wide, 20" deep, 76" tall and the work surface is 33" high.
