Primitive Country Pine 1870's Pie Safe Pantry Cupboard. Punched Tin

A rustic pine "pie safe" - pantry cupboard was hand crafted by a country carpenter about 1870 in rural Illinois to hold fresh bakery.

Square cut nails are visible on this primitive antique furniture. The finish is in very fine condition, preserving lots of dings and mars for antique character.

Traditional punched tin panels allow ventilation, all of these panels are later replacements.

Measurements are 33" wide, 15" deep and 62" tall.
