Empire 1840 Antique Mahogany Bookcase, Carved Acanthus Columns, Lion Paws

An Empire period bookcase from about 1840 is hand carved with acanthus columns and lion paw feet. Solid mahogany with matched flame grain panels, this American made antique furniture has an excellent restored finish.

Shelves are adjustable, the door lock and key work. The back is hand planed and chamfered.

Measurements are 42" wide, 17" deep and 65" tall.
