Made for the Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison during the early 1900's, an exceptional quality six drawer file has an upper cabinet with sliding glass doors.
Quarter sawn oak has bold grain and an excellent restored finish. Standard 10 x 12 files fit, all drawers have adjustable pushers. Solid brass hardware is original on this American made antique office or library furniture. Upper doors roll smoothly on bearings, the shelf is adjustable.
Two separate pieces for easier moving, corner columns are imposing.
Measurements are 54" wide, 24" deep and 73" tall.
