Richly carved of solid walnut in the Renaissance manner, this 1925 era dining table has a top banded in tiger maple and burl, signed "Johnson, Handley, Johnson of Grand Rapids, Michigan."
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. Corners have genuine inlaid marquetry. There are three original 11" wide matching leaves, two have skirts or aprons. The trestle base is reglued to serve another generation. Center legs give extra support when extended.
Dimensions are 45" wide, 30" tall, legroom is 25" and length is 68" when closed, with all three leaves in place, length is 8' 5" overall.
