A marvelous English hall or foyer stand with beveled mirror and brass hooks is solid quarter sawn oak with raised panels, dating from about 1900.
The top of the base has been revarnished for durability, the rest of the finish is original and very well preserved. Waxed and buffed, all that is needed to maintain the warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. There are brass drip pans for umbrellas.
The original beveled and shaped mirror has antique "age spots," if this is not charming, the mirror can be replaced or resilvered. Lower doors have a working lock, the drawer has hand cut dovetail joints. The solid brass upper hat rack has pineapple finials on this British made antique furniture.
Measurements are 67" wide, 18" deep and 79" tall.
