A pair of quarter sawn oak five stack lawyer's or barrister's bookcases from about 1900 is signed by famous maker, "Globe Wernicke of Cincinnati, Ohio."
The restored deep finish is in excellent condition. Bases and tops are also separate stacking modules on this American made antique library or office furniture. Original glass is wavy, original hardware is coppery flashed. Sections accommodate books up to 8" wide and 10 1/2" tall.
Size is 35" wide, 11" deep and 75 1/2" tall.
