A late Georgian lowboy or hall console table was hand crafted of mahogany in England around the middle of the 1800's. There are old storage or shipping labels from "Bayward's Heath," south of London.
The renewed finish preserves stains, mars and various restorations over the years. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints, brass pulls are over 100 years old but not original. The top drawer was relined with wood. Cut square nails are visible on this antique furniture and there are shrinkage separations from age.
Size is 29 1/2" wide, 17 1/2" deep and 28" tall.
