An Empire period tall chest or dresser was hand crafted in the 1830's of solid cherry in New England.
The restored finish is in excellent condition with warm patina, preserving lots of mars, stains, losses and even graffiti for antique character. Large drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and chamfered bottoms. Every surface has hand planing marks on this American made furniture. Square cut nails are visible.
Dimensions are 42" wide, 19" deep and 48 1/2" tall.
