An opulent vanity or dressing table is mahogany and rosewood with ebony and tulipwood banding and inlaid marquetry, crafted about 1900 in France.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this elegant antique furniture. The center flips open to an original sliding beveled mirror, which has losses and "smoke" to show its age. If this is not charming, it could be replaced.
Lower drawers have solid mahogany sides with hand cut dovetail joints. Embossed brass hardware and mounts are original on this antique furniture.
Measurements are 33 1/2" wide when closed, 52" overall with both sides flipped open, 21" deep and 29 1/2" tall.
