A palatial 1920's dining set was richly carved in the Renaissance manner, and includes a table with three leaves and six large newly upholstered chairs. Carved of walnut with fruitwood banding around the top, the signature is "Johnson, Handley, Johnson of Grand Rapids, Mich."
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. Trestle base frames are tight and strong, reglued to serve another generation.
The table has three matching 11" wide original leaves, two with skirts or aprons. Measurements are 44" wide, 29 1/2" tall, legroom is 25" and length when closed is 66," with all three leaves in place, length is 99" overall.
Two armchairs measure 24" wide, 24" deep, 46" tall and seats are 19" high, four side chairs are 22" wide, 23" deep and 44" tall.
