A harmonious carved armoire or wardrobe has triple beveled mirrors. Hand-carved of walnut about 1900, the original finish is remarkably well preserved. Shaped and beveled mirrors have a little "smoke" to show their age, there are small silvering losses on the lower center mirror, see photos. Embossed brasses are original, drawers have hand-dovetailed solid oak sides.
Elegant and graceful carving shows great mastery, the Rococco shell crest is especially wonderful. This historic piece disassembles for moving. There is a warp to the door, when the door is pushed closed before locking, it does not show.
