An authentic antique from the late Victorian or Eastlake period about 1870, a marble top dresser or linen chest could also serve as a console for a wide screen tv.
Solid walnut with matched burl panels, the finish on this American made furniture is excellent. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and original embossed brass pulls. The "Tennessee Red" marble top has been given a silken polish. Under the marble top there is a signature Grand Forks North Dakota with the name of the original recipient.
Measurements of this picturesque chest are 41 1/2" wide, 18" deep and 28 1/2" tall.
