Expertly crafted about 1900 in England, a bookcase or display cabinet could be hung on the wall or used on a counter, desk or table.
Mahogany wood has delicate inlaid banding on the shaped crown with finials. Doors have Gothic arched panes of slightly wavy glass. Shelves adjust on iron pegs, the lock and key in the door still works.
The original finish is extremely well preserved - waxed and polished, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm patina.
Size of this elegant antique furniture is 35" wide, 10" deep and 41 1/2" tall.
