Authentic Country French furniture from about 1900, this enchanting oak hall bench has a gallery and hat shelf.

The finish is in very fine condition with just enough mars for a little antique character. Joints have wooden pegs, the delicate spindles, carved details and shaped raised center panels are beautiful.

The seat lifts for storage, we have installed a modern shock absorber to keep the lid from slamming down.

This hall or dressing room piece from France could have hooks attached if desired.

Measurements are 48" wide, 15" deep, 7' 2 1/2" tall and the seat is 20" high.
