This simple country pine open cabinet has many names - bucket bench, crockery cupboard or dairy shelf, used for cream to rise on open bowls of milk.
Hand crafted in America about 1880, there are square cut nail heads visible. Rustic furniture from Minnesota, the scalloped design shows immigrant Scandinavian origins.
The old finish is very well preserved with warm patina. Waxed and buffed, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its glowing luster.
Size of this nostalgic cupboard is 41" wide, 16" deep and 64 1/2" tall.
