A beautiful 1820's solid cherry sideboard, server or jelly cupboard was hand crafted by a master country cabinetmaker.
Well worn with glowing antique patina, the finish is in very good condition. There are lots of mars and wear for character on the matched curly grain cherry.
The finish has been waxed and polished and needs only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth to maintain its glowing luster. Drawers and the upper gallery have hand cut dovetail joints on this classic, clean lined Yankee furniture. There is a loss inside the lower right door and the lock is a modern replacement, see photos.
Dimensions are 48" wide, 23" deep, 54 1/2" tall and the top surface is 48 1/2" high.
