This charming country pine corner cabinet from about 1890 originally had no sides or back, it was built into a corner about 1890. About 50 years ago, the back and sides were added to make a free standing cupboard. Knotty pine has deep moldings.
There are some shrinkage separations and warps to the doors from age for antique character. The warm honey finish is in extremely fine condition and has been waxed and buffed so only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its glow.
This antique furniture from England has carved turn buttons to secure the doors.
Dimensions are 55 1/2" across the crown tip to tip, 7' tall and the sides are 26" from the back corner to the front tip of the crown.
