Signed by premier maker, "Steinway and Sons of NYC," this Model M grand piano was hand crafted in 1965. Entirely original, the hand rubbed satin ebony case is in extremely fine condition with only minute mars or wear. A two position arm supports the wing when open.
Played very little, this piano was acquired from the estate of the original owner. Professionally tuned, the soundboard is intact and the action smooth and firm. Resonant bass, brilliant treble and precision action are characteristic for Steinway, America's finest maker.
This outstanding musical instrument now sells for over $50,000, and many performers feel these vintage pianos are better than the new ones made after the Steinway family was out of the business.
Piano size is 57" wide, 38" tall when closed and 5' 6" long. The bench has hand stitched wool genuine needle point upholstery with musical motifs, and storage underneath. Measurements are 35" long, 15" wide and 20" tall.
