Spectacular hand carved motifs of lion paws and bold scroll work are three dimensional on this Spanish Colonial library desk, writing or dining table. This remarkable workmanship is by Jesus Ballester Sanchis of Valencia, Spain, under the table is a signature label.
Dating from the 1930's or 40's, the original finish is in excellent condition on fruitwood. Wrought iron braces are original on this traditional vintage furniture. At both ends are 28" wide pull out leaves.
Measurements are 40" wide, 30" tall, legroom is 25" underneath and length is 67" when closed, with both leaves extended, length is 10' 3" overall.
