Hand crafted in New England around 1835, this set of four dining or game table chairs are solid curly, striped or "birdseye" maple.
The finish is in excellent condition, seats have been newly hand caned. Chairs are hand carved, the front "bustle bar" accommodated the hoop skirts of the era.
Frames have had various restorations over the years, they are strong, tight and durable to use.
These American made antiques measure 18" wide, 20" deep, 34" tall and seats are 18" high.
